Started new album..

ive started working on my next solo project, im extremely excited about it.. i feel i've grown massively as a person and as an artist since i released 'what you see is what you get' - so im confident with the right production behind me ill be able to make a really great album.. this time around i definately dont wanto "settle" for beats, i do find its very hard out here to find top quality universal standard production, and you find yourself settling for beats rather than being blown away by them.. with that said i dont think i was ready when writing and recording 'what you see is what you get' to use world wide standard beats... but i do feel i am now... im more hungry than i have ever been, more inspired than i have ever been.. all i've been doing for the past year is trying to improve as an mc and as an artist, im learning more and more about my delivery, voice, flow etc.. im far from where i wanto be, but im definately going to get there..

with this album im working on, im really going to make sure im happy 100% with every track before putting it out, i wanna do something different sound wise! id love to team up with a producer who is keen on making an original new sound.. my musical taste has differed like crazy since my release, im heavily into electro, house, rock, indie and more.. im loving the presets! im loving mgmt, i havent heard any hip hop thats really blown me away lately..

also in the process of working on the forthwrite album with pez, we have Countbounce from Tzu producing majority of tracks, the beats we have so far are amazing.. he's on a really high quality original sound.. im so excited about this release as well!

just thought id keep heads in the know of whats going on..

Yo 6,
ive got to say that i am really looking forward to anything new you bring out, and im loving the live shows, but theres no point releasing anything just for the sake of releasing unless YOU are 100% happy with it.

my music taste has changed dramatically away from ozhiphop in the past 2 years as well but i think that broadening your music variety will only help to produce a newer sounding and better sounding album than if you only listened to hiphop.

you keep up the good work, ill keep up the support.

peace, Riz

big ups bro

mannn, i can feel ya, with the whole electro n indie rock stufff, im getting into that music aswelll, i can def relate. our hip hop outfit is now '2 mc's, DJ, keyboard, and funky bassplayer' its soundin so funky and electronic with the keyboard and bass, rather that raw hip hop, coz seriosly 'raw hip hop' isnt gettin too far besides to the hip hop heads... like even bliss n eso have taken hip hop and stretched it to the corners so far that their song '$5 steak' isnt even hip hop .. those guys are siik, but i can feel 'hip hop heads' not gettin into coz they are doing different stuff. but .. yea ill keep looking at ya blog.. peace out man. byezzzzza jeff ps.. i had to make a fricken google blogger account.. grrr. ur lucky im a true fan hahaha peace!
